The English course is offered in short and long term
Three to five months
The duration of the above training is based on the type of students enrolled according to their ability to understand the English language whereby the students are divided into classes according to their ability
The Following is the arrangement on how students’ study
STUDENTS WHO DON'T KNOW ENGLISH AT ALL
STUDENTS WHO KNOW A LITTLE BIT AND NEED TO KNOW MORE
iii. STUDENTS WHO KNOW HOW TO SPEAK BUT DO NOT HAVE CONFIDENCE OR CAN NOT SPEAK A FLUENT ENGLISH
PROCEDURE TO DIVIDE STUDENTS IN CLASSROOMS
When a student arrives at school and enrolls he meets the teacher and then the teacher does a short interview with him/her and then will find out which class to send the particular student because students are not assigned to classes based on education level as there are others with Form Four education. But they speak a better English compare to college/university. Therefore, in the classroom the students are classified according to their levels of speaking a fluent English
The teachers who teach are very good in teaching and they understand the English language very well. Due to the great ability which they have, giving more confidence in understanding the language in a very short time, a student who does not know English well can start speaking fluently within the first three months
Moreover; We welcome students of all ages (young, adult and old), The student should at least be able to read and write Swahili or any other language he/she uses
The student can study English course and Computer Course at the same time. The student will be instructed by the office
Students are taught more practically, by practicing speaking more such as debates, self-expression, descriptions of things etc. They are also taught to read and write
ENGLISH COURSE SCHEDULE
The sessions begin in the morning from 8:00am-10:00am, 11:00-: 1:00pm in the afternoon, 2:00pm-4:00pm in the evening and from 5:00pm-7:00pm in the evening
The duration of the intervals is 2 hours, and the student will choose the appropriate time whether it is morning, afternoon, or evening. Studying days are from Monday to Friday except for religious and national holidays
The student will be allowed to change the schedule where necessary, for example if the student is employed and he/she works by shifts he/she will be assigned a study schedule according to his/her work schedule. A student who needs to study for more than two hours is possible and will be given procedures
We advise all students to speak English even when they are out of school for example at home and especially when they meet people who know English such as teachers, classmates, friends, co-workers, their children, parents etc.
We also encourage all students to attend sessions daily without skipping any. If a student misses a session, he or she will be allowed to attend the next session of the day. For example, if a student's study time is 8:00am in the morning and he or she failed to attend, then he or she may enter a related session for another time of the day or evening, only if the student himself/herself wishes to do so.
Therefore, if a student adheres to all the instructions listed above as well as to others that heshe will continue to receive while at school, it will be easier for the student to speak English early.
